Cuando hace casi dos a\u00f1os Leonardo Caama\u00f1o de Z Zurich Foundation se contact\u00f3 conmigo para pensar un proyecto de transformaci\u00f3n en Latinoam\u00e9rica, no imaginaba todav\u00eda que con el liderazgo de Universal Assistance y el apoyo de organizaciones en M\u00e9xico, Argentina, Brasil, Chile y Colombia, estar\u00edamos hoy lanzando #TransformingtheFuture. Luego de un proceso largo y complejo, lleno de ilusiones y desaf\u00edos, estamos iniciando un proyecto que es a su vez un nuevo modelo de intervenci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n y a escala global: construir destinos sostenibles de clase mundial alienados a los #ODS junto a Biosphere\u00a9 y atender el impacto social y la derrama econ\u00f3mica del turismo. Para Fundaci\u00f3n Plan21, como parte del equipo de co-creaci\u00f3n de esta intervenci\u00f3n y como Coordinadores regionales del proyecto es un honor y un privilegio que agradecemos profundamente. When almost two years ago Leonardo Caama\u00f1o from the Z Zurich Foundation contacted me to think about a transformation project in Latin America, I still did not imagine that with the leadership of Universal Assistance and the support of organizations in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia, we would be launching #TransformingtheFuture today. After a long and complex process, full of illusions and challenges, we are starting a project that is, in turn, a new intervention model in the region and on a global scale: building world-class sustainable destinations aligned with the #SDGs together with Biosphere \u00a9 and attend to the social impact and economic benefits of tourism. For Fundaci\u00f3n Plan21, as part of the co-creation team of this intervention and as Regional Coordinators of the project, it is an honor and a privilege that we are deeply grateful for.
