Fundación Plan21 es reconocida internacionalmente por sus Programas de Turismo Sostenible y Cambio Climático, dos de los más antiguos de América Latina. Sin embargo, desde hace dos años emprendimos una nueva aventura con nuestro Programa de #AgriculturaRegenerativa, que nos llevó a distinciones tales como ser finalistas regionales del callforcode 2021, junto con nuestros aliados del Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Este mes de febrero estará dedicado a este Programa, que tendrá el 17 de febrero un anuncio que nos honra especialmente, ya verán porqué…. Esa será una nueva historia…

Y hablando de reconocimiento a nuestro Programa, queremos contarle que estamos muy felices de haber sido aceptados como parte de La Misión de Innovación Agrícola para el Clima (AIM for Climate / AIM4C), una iniciativa conjunta de los Estados Unidos y los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. AIM for Climate busca abordar el cambio climático y el hambre global uniendo a los participantes para aumentar significativamente la inversión y otro tipo de apoyo para la agricultura climáticamente inteligente y la innovación de los sistemas alimentarios durante cinco años (2021-2025).

Plan21 forma parte como Knowledge Partner, representando a la región, a través de nuestro proyecto #YVY, acompañando a un extenso grupo de países, y organizaciones internacionales, en esta valiosa iniciativa que fue lanzada durante la COP 26 en Glasgow a fines del 2021.

Plan21 Foundation is internationally recognized for its Sustainable Tourism and Climate Change Programs, two of the oldest in Latin America. However, two years ago we embarked on a new adventure with our #RegenerativeAgriculture Program, which led us to distinctions such as being regional finalists of the 2021 callforcode, together with our allies from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica. This month of February will be dedicated to this Program, which will have an announcement on February 17 that especially honors us, you will see why…. That will be a new story…

And speaking of recognition of our Program, we want to tell you that we are very happy to have been accepted as part of the Agricultural Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate / AIM4C), a joint initiative of the United States and the United Arab Emirates. AIM for Climate seeks to address climate change and global hunger by uniting participants to significantly increase investment and other support for climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation over five years (2021-2025).

Plan21 takes part as a Knowledge Partner, representing the region, through our #YVY project, accompanying an extensive group of countries, and international organizations, in this valuable initiative that was launched during COP 26 in Glasgow at the end of 2021.
